Frequently Asked Questions
I'm sure that you will have some questions when it comes to your wedding flowers, so here are a few I get asked most frequently. If you have any further questions please get in touch via email or by phone 07926 668550.
When should I book my florist?
As soon as possible! I can take bookings 12 - 18 months in advance, especially for the popular summer or bank holiday dates.
Do you require a booking fee?
Yes, I ask for a non-refundable deposit of £250 upon receipt of your detailed quote, which secures your date and is deducted from the final balance.
Do I have to choose my flowers right away?
No, we can discuss ideas and around 6 - 8 weeks before your date I will finalise the order.
When will the balance have to be paid?
The full balance will need to be settled no later than 4 weeks before your wedding day.
Do you charge for delivery?
Yes, there is a delivery charge which covers fuel. I will be able to confirm the delivery charge to your venue when I provide your detailed quote.
When will my flowers be delivered?
Approximately 2 hours prior to the ceremony but I aim to be flexible.
Do you charge for the hire of props, vases etc?
Most of the prices for my designs are include the container when filled with flowers. There are some exceptions such as externally hired props etc.
Can we keep the flowers after the wedding?
Yes! I only take back any hired items such as vases and props. If you are unsure what to do with your flowers after the big day, why not consider donating them to a local hospice or care home?
Is there a minimum order?
No! I welcome all budgets and will always be honest with couples about the cost of their weddings flowers and if it will fit into their budget.
How do we pay?
I accept BACS, cheques or cash only. Your date is only secure once funds have cleared.
Are you insured?
Yes I have Public Liability insurance and can present the certificate upon request.
